Mads Sætter-Lassen belongs to the new talented generation of Danish designers. With his honest approach to design, he focuses on the simplicity and functionality of the product, although he is not afraid of decoration if it compliments the functionality. He experiments with unconventional materials otherwise associated with specific objects and uses them in new and surprising ways.
Mads Sætter-Lassen has recently graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Art, School of Design and has also studied for periods at such renowned US design schools such as the Pratt Institute in New York and RISD in Rhode Island. He works with design on different scales and explores everything from décor and furniture to tableware. In his workflow he combines classic sketch techniques with new technology.
